QuickDoor App-Help

Learn more about using our App on mobile devices


To install and use the QuickDoor app, the following system requirements are assumed:


  • Active internet connection

Operating system of your smart phone:

  • iOS 14.5 or higher, min. iPhone 6s (released 09/2015)
  • Android 8 or higher
  • Activate Bluetooth

Presence detection:

  • Permission for location detection

Setting up a location

Step 1 (Launch App)

After successfully installing the QuickDoor App, you will find the icon to open the App on your Smart Phone’s main screen:

Step 2 (Search Operator)

After opening, you have the option to add a New Location by clicking the +. For this, you will receive the following information from your QuickDoor Operator:

  • Operator-ID
  • Email Address
  • Password

You can determine the password yourself. It must have at least 6 characters.
Enter this information and click the Search button.

Step 3 (Device Registration)

After you have been found by the Operator, an SMS with a security code will be sent to your Smart Phone. For this, the Operator must know your mobile phone number.
Enter the security code and select Next…

Step 4 (Save Location)

After an error-free entry, the information of the QuickDoor system will be shown. Here you can still decide which entrances (button) you want to see for future use (you can activate or deactivate the entrances (buttons) later by editing the location).
Optionally, you can decide here if you want to save your PIN for opening an entrance for future use. If you do NOT save the PIN, you will always be prompted to enter the PIN in the future when you want to open an entrance.
Finally, you will be provided with the Operator’s Privacy Policy. The requirement to save the location is an acceptance of this statement.
Complete the setup by clicking Save.

Opening an Entrance

1. Open the QuickDoor App and select one of your saved locations.

2. Click on the button of the desired entrance.

Upon successful authorization, you will be presented with the Welcome Screen.

Updating a Location

If the Operator has changed the facility settings of QuickDoor after setting up the location on your Smart Phone (e.g. configured a new entrance, or deleted an entrance), you will be notified in the App as shown here.

In case of this, please update the site information:

Edit Location

  • Click on Edit (top right corner of the screen)
  • Select the Location you want to edit
  • Click on the Update Icon (top right corner of the screen)
  • Scroll down to save the updated Location
  • Click Done (top right edge of screen) to finish editing

The Location is now updated on your Smart Phone.

The current QuickDoor app is available in five languages: German, English, French, Spanish and Dutch.
